SEED SWAP AND SHARE

JANUARY 31, 2026
9am-12pm

Celebrate National Seed Swap Day with the Cuyahoga Valley Farmers Market as we bring our community together to prepare for spring gardening!

This free event is about more than just seeds—it’s about building connections, sharing knowledge, and strengthening our local food community.

What to Expect

Seed Exchange

Bring seeds from your personal collection to trade, or simply take home non-GMO, heirloom, native, and organic seeds provided by local vendors and fellow gardeners.

No seeds to share? No problem—everyone is welcome to participate and take seeds home.

Fermentation Station

Swap and take home fermented products including kombucha SCOBYs and sourdough starter.

Free Compost

Get your spring garden started with complimentary bags of compost from Rubber City Reuse (while supplies last).

Rubber City Reuse is a sustainable waste management company based in Akron serving northeast Ohio, specializing in composting and landfill diversion of food scraps, yard waste, and organic material.
